Superb views frombreakfast and the more expensive rooms. Lovely staff
Nice terrasse and panoramic view. Small pool with a view
Very steep to walk up to the city which was very tiring. Limited parking spaces. No WIFI in room
Fabulous views from room and from the dinning area. Free WiFi and internet access Friendly and helpfull staff
Car park too small and difficult to navigate
Very friendly receptionist, recommended nice restaurant.
Lack of parking availability, but this was during the busy festival weekend.
It was our second stay here. First time approximately five years ago. The view is wonderful but little else.
The hotel has not been update at old since first stay...small TV...few channels. When water was first put on in sink in bathroom it splashed all over my clothing. The shower was terrible...small...and it leaked. We would not stay here again nor would we recommend it to any of our friends.
Great hotel - friendly staff and excellent location.
Parking was a little tricky if you have a large vehicle.
Beautiful setting with nice pool and overlook. Loved the town of Montalcino.
A little pricey and bathroom tight. Beds hard
Inside the Montelcino city walls and and easy walk from everything. Had coordinated for free parking. Nice pool and sun deck and beautiful Tuscan views. Breakfast was very good.
Parking was not close. But it was free. Our room had only a street-level view. Light switch was broken for reading light by the bed.
This is an incredible view over the rolling hills and fields - priceless! A short walk to beautiful restaurants with local cuisine. Perfect
Very helpful and service minded staff. The room we had offered a fantastic view over the Tuscany landscape. The pool was nice!
Expensive compared to other similar hotels.
The view from the room overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The pictures on the website made us nervous about the quality of the rooms, but they were much better than expected.
Excelent hotel, tremendeus ubication and atention
Very clean. Friendly staff. Beautiful location.
No facility for snacks in the hotel. This meant that if one wanted to spend the day at the pool one had to get dressed and leave the hotel in order to get lunch.
Liked the fact that the hotel was within the town of Montalcino. You can walk to any part of the town within 15 mins. It has a pool with the most mazing view over the Tuscan countryside. You definitely have to pay that little bit extra to get a room with a view. Breakfast is ok but served on a lovely terrace. There is some limited parking but it is within a very small area and has very, very steep incline out of it!
The guy on reception (Massimo) ? was very dismissive and you felt he had seen one too many tourist and could nt give a damn! The rest of the staff were friendly. Thought it was a bit much to tell guests they must be in by 12 midnight or else the doors would be locked and there would be no one on reception to let you in!
Best part of this hotel is the terrace with its stunning views on the whole valley, and a little swimming pool too.
The rooms were quite disappointing for the price, the decorations and furniture look like they haven't been changed since the 1970s. Clean but very basic. Breakfast buffet was not amazing either.
